How can the concept of Antifragility make a difference in Planning, Policy design, Urban and Architectural Design? 

 

Members of the Board of CRAFT as well as other colleagues of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies will illustrate with short lectures in the beginning of the week the concept of Antifragility, moving from different perspectives, from both theory and practices point of view. Professors from the IW promoting Universities will contribute by giving lectures inspired by this concept, based on their different disciplinary perspectives and approaches. 

 

The Antifragility Lab @CRAFT will support the IW 2025 activities by presenting 8 Pilot projects currently ongoing and  inviting students to start a collaborative learning cycle: students are introduced to the Pilot Projects by a representative of the research Team developing the project; they are invited to reflect critically on the approaches and topics, considering the added-value of the antifragility approach, elaborating critical suggestions for the development of the project, based on their knowledge of cases, approaches, methodologies that could resonate with it.
